Lets all be honest with ourselves, we are pretty dependent on our streaming services such as Netflix to be our core source of entertainment.
I personally have a long love of movies and series which started with me and my dad going shopping for DVDs. So here are my top 3 to look at for on Netflix. 1. Master & Commander - For Movie Lovers It tells of a story of a British Expeditionary force travelling across the ocean during the 19th Century. Although the time period might be too historic for others, the human elements of struggle, togetherness, and loss are universal emotions that go beyond time and space. It is over 2 hours so get ready for a long watch but with such a star studded cast and with such a unique take on this time periodic, I would strongly suggest people to get this movie under their belt. 2. Castlevania - For Serious Animations Critically acclaimed movies and series about vampires are few and far but this animated take on the well-known subject has had a surprisingly interesting result.
Besides the graphic nature of the series, the way that the story explores the many different characters that a vampire could be to give a more diverse range was a breath of fresh air. You see the different political systems, types of internal characters, and the violent nature of vampires knitted together to make a interesting and tense story.
There are 2 seasons with each episode being around 20mins so can be used as a simple reward during the working day.

3. Gilmore Girls - For Lovey Dovies This story about a single mother and her daughter is honestly one of the best and constructive series I have ever seen. Yes it is a good story overall which is reflected by the extraordinary lifetime of the series but the main strength is how it can resonate with real life. By exploring topics such as a child's relationship with parents, toxic masculinity, challenges in love, finding one's own purpose, and many others is why it resonated with me and so many others so strongly. As it goes across a long period of time, it shows the different challenges that comes with age and so can be relevant for most people. Would recommend it for those who love seeing human relationships grow, blossom, die, and finally come back to life.
