It's a strange feeling to finally be out of the office and working right where you live.

Despite the sombre and serious mood, it is also a chance to practice what the future is going to be. The Death of Offices and Rise of Connectivity that will spur the demise of the irrevelant office and give birth to a generation of workers whose ability to work will be based upon discipline, productivity, and connectivity.

Here are a couple tips to help you maintain all 3 for the forseeable future. 1. Write A To-Do List - Discipline It might be the desk that you have watched endless YouTube and Netflix but no more. It is your personal workspace that were trusted to perform and work at. Keeping to your office habits is a key way to keep a professional mindset and a physical list of tasks can help give focus to your activities and energy.

2. Have Little Breaks - Productivity No one can just breeze through 10 hours of work with complete focus, you still need to take care of your physical and mental health at home. For physical health, make sure you do the basics of hydrating and eating health as well as having a short but effective workout routine. For mental health, maybe start a 30min break for reading or just relaxing that can refuel your mind with a different stimulus besides normal work.

3. Always Keep Contactable - Connectivity You might be tempted to splurge on a Netflix show or take a short nap but please fight against this urge. You are working and be professional and respectful to your employers and colleagues who are depending on you.

This is not a 2 week holiday, maintain clear lines of communication to your teammates, managers, and clients. The time for professionalism and responsbility is now.
