Being Financially Loving

You do not need to be a business success or investing genius to be in love but what you need is a mature and deep understanding about what money means to you and your partner.

This is because financial compatibility is of the most extreme importance due to many marriages and relationships being ended by money problems.

Being aligned about the meaning of money is critical to having a clearer life and relationship.

Welcome To Love & Money

Holidays, Date Nights, and Social Media. These topics are some of the most important in a relationship but what is never discussed is money and finances.

Knowing that you're either financially ready to be in a relationship or just isn't economically sensible is a critically important part of any relationship.

This blog is to give helpful advice and constructive debate about what are the financials to-dos and not to-dos in a relationship.

Important Questions

  • What does money mean to me?
  • Do I manage my money in a responsible way?
  • What are my financial goals?
  • Am I working towards these goals in an efficient way?
  • What are my partner's goals?
  • Does she/he manage it responsibly
  • Are we aligned and transparent about our goals?
  • Are we working as a team or as individuals to reach those goals?
Reading through these questions I hope that you have a clear answer for all of them but if you don't then I hope I can help you find out for yourself or motivate you to better view your relationship.

The Stages of Adulting

Stage 1
Preparing Yourself
At this early stage of your career, it's importance to establish how you handle money and what it means to you.
Stage 2
Planning Together
When your relationship is getting stable and serious, it's time to be clear about your goals and plans for your financial future.
Stage 3
Family Operations
As I don't have a family of my own, I don't have the necessary experience to provide helpful tips and advice.
